As zine creators who oppose Israel's genocide in Gaza, we have chosen not to support or take part in Canzine.
Why?
Hal Niedzviecki, one of the two co-publishers of Broken Pencil Magazine and Canzine's founder, is a vocal supporter of the state of Israel and Israeli military action, and has denied that a genocide is taking place in Gaza, contributing to misinformation and hate.
Check out the links below to support creators who oppose genocide and support Palestinian liberation.
